Understand it.
Improve it.
Make it real.
Independent research at the intersection of intelligence, information, and engineering.
A question. A model. A test.
Work worth
taking further.
I’m interested in problems where a better answer changes what people can do. These are the first directions I want to investigate.
Find the limit.
Then test it.
A promising idea needs a fair comparison, a repeatable experiment, and a reason to matter outside the lab.
How I approach the workUnderstand the baseline
Read the current work. Find out what already exists and where it falls short.
Build a test that can fail
Measure the tradeoffs. Keep the inputs, assumptions, and limits visible.
Follow the useful result
Reproduce it. Talk to the people it could help. Decide what deserves the next experiment.
From the
notebook.
Research directions, technical observations, and work cleared for public reading.

I’m interested in useful questions, thoughtful collaborations, and the space between an idea and a working system.
